American Movie Awards™ Voting Procedures

Nominees for the 2010 American Movie Awards™ are determined from a comprehensive listing of all motion pictures released between January 26, 2009 and January 25, 2010. The award winners in each category will be determined by the overall votes by the Selection Committee and will be announced on February 25, 2010. The winner in each category will be determined by the sum total of first-place, second-place, and third-place votes it received.

Selection Committee members will decide winners in each of the following categories:

Best Film
Best Actor
Best Actress
Best Supporting Actor
Best Supporting Actress
Best Director
Best Screenplay
Best Song
Favorite Film Star - Male
Favorite Film Star - Female

In addition, a Special Marquee Award will be presented by the American Movie Awards™.
